What is your standard turnaround time?
Turnaround time varies by product, and ranges from same business to ten business days. Please check the turnaround option for the specific product that interests you. Weekends and holidays are not included in turnaround times.
For orders with turnaround times of Same or Next Business Day, the job must be submitted and the proof (if selected) approved by 12 Noon (PST). For an order with 2 Business Day turnaround or longer the deadline for job submittal and proof approval is 10am (PST). Orders submitted and/or approved after these deadlines will be processed the following business day and the specified turnaround time will be in effect from that date and time.
Turnaround times for all print jobs begin once the order has been placed and the print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins when we receive approval for your proof.
In order to receive the fastest turnaround possible and avoid any delays, you may consider submitting your order without requesting a proof. Please recognize that if there are any technical problems with your file we will contact you regardless of the effect on turnaround time. Especially when declining a proof, it is imperative that you look over your file and correct any typos, misspellings or errors before submitting your print-ready files.
How is turnaround time determined?
Turnaround time for your print job begins calculating once the order has been placed, your print-ready files have been uploaded and the proof has been approved. If you declined the proof option, your turnaround begins calculating once your files are uploaded and the order has been placed. For orders requiring a proof, turnaround times do not begin until the proof has been approved.
Please note that Avalon Printing & Graphics is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. As a result, these days are not considered when calculating turnaround time.
In addition, turnaround time does not include shipping time, and you should allow additional business days for delivery based on the shipping method you selected.
What can delay the start of turnaround times?
Turnaround time for your print job begins calculating once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins when we receive approval of your proof.
Turnaround times will not begin and could be delayed if:
1. Your files have not been submitted
2. Your files are not print-ready
3. You have not approved your proof
We will make every effort to notify you in a timely manner to begin turnaround time for your job. For example, if we identify during the pre-flight stage that your files are not print-ready, we will send you an email notification with further instructions.
Does turnaround time including shipping time?
No. Turnaround time refers to our production turnaround time, which does not include shipping time. In addition, turnaround time for your print job begins calculating once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins calculating when we receive approval for your proof.
Can I change turnaround time after my order has been placed?
We make it our top priority to meet your turnaround expectations, and we will make every effort to work with you after your order has been placed to adjust your turnaround time. If you want to adjust your turnaround time, it is essential that you work with us to help us identify the key elements needed to make your print job a success.
In some cases, however, we may not be able to adjust turnaround time due to the complexity and variety of printing processes that are available in our facility. Some items simply take longer to produce than others.
What shipping options does Avalon offer?
We offer a range of shipping options: ground, 2nd day air, next day air, truck delivery and pick-up. Pick-up is available at our facility in Roseville, California.
Please check pricing for different shipping options during the shipping and billing stage of the ordering process.
How do I obtain the fastest possible turnaround time?
Turnaround time for your print job begins calculating once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins when we receive approval for your proof.
As a result, you can receive the fastest turnaround time if:
1. Your files are print-ready
2. You double-check your artwork yourself and decline the proof option
3. Select the fastest turnaround possible for your desired product.
Do you ever complete jobs early?
Our goal is to complete or ship your order by the specified turnaround time. It is possible, (especially on digital products), that we may complete your order early. If this occurs, we will notify you that your order is ready early. However, if you need your order for a specific event or by a specified date please order the correct turnaround time to ensure that your order is completed in time.
When can I pick-up my order?
Orders will be ready for pick-up at the end of business day on the target due date.

Pick up is available at our facility at 106 N. Sunrise Avenue, Roseville, California 95661, Monday through Friday, 10:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M. PST, except holidays.
Avalon's production facility is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. As a result, these days are not considered when calculating turnaround time.

Same Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before Noon will be available for pickup after 4pm the same business day. Request for proof may delay same business day orders, in order to receive the fastest service possible, please consider declining the proof option. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option. Orders cannot be shipped or delivered in order to receive the same business day.
Example: An order placed at 11:15am Monday with no proof will be finished by 4pm on Monday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished by Noon on Tuesday.
Next Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before Noon will be available for pickup after Noon the next business day. Request for proof may delay next business day orders, in order to receive the fastest service possible, please consider declining the proof option. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option. Orders cannot be shipped or delivered in order to receive the next business day.
Example: An order placed at 11:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon on Tuesday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after 4pm on Tuesday.
2 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after two business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon on Wednesday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon on Thursday.
3 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after three business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon on Thursday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon on Friday.
4 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after four business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon on Friday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon the following Monday.
5 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after five business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon the following Monday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon the following Tuesday.
7 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after seven business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon the following Wednesday. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon the following Thursday.
10 Business Day Turnaround
Orders submitted and approved before 10am will be available for pickup or ready to ship after ten business days. Orders submitted after 10am will not be processed until the following business day. Does not include delivery time, pickup is the fastest option.
Example: An order placed at 9:15am Monday with no proof will be finished after Noon two Mondays later. An order placed at 2:15 Monday will be finished after Noon, Tuesday two weeks later.
